Paramount's Kings Island needs 100 very enthusiastic riders to participate in a video shoot for the Discovery Channel. Tomb Raider: The Ride will be featured in a future edition of Extreme Rides.
To participate:
The first 100 people to respond will be admitted to the shoot and further instructions on parking and such will be provided. Please RSVP to Jeffrey Siebert at jeffrey.siebert@paramountparks.com.
I e-mailed him and told him if he needed me to respond. I said I met all the requirements and would be happy to do it. I hope they write back and say they need me. I would love to do it since I've never been to PKI.

WickedTwister44554,
Just remember, due to the shoot, it won't be certain that you will be in the show. It all depends on what the directors want for the show. As for the director asking everyone questions, that probably won't happen. That all depends on who they want to feature in the show (which is up to the director or the park).
Bill,
My guess would be that Jeffrey will e-mail those that were the first100 to respond.
Tinkerbell,
This shoot is for Tomb Raider: The Ride. Drop Zone won't be running.
DLDude,
My guess would be that a guardian would need to be present for the release signing. For those that don't know, it is required that all folks participating in a video shoot like this sign a release form in case the production company wants to use your image. Usually, if you are under the age of 18, you need a legal guardian to be present at the shoot.

Hey Sean,
Will Seibert tell us what time to start arriving, or do you know?
Thanks,
Eric

A one that is not cold, is hardly a one at all.
Wouldn't you know it, I have volleyball tryouts that day. So for the second time, Stephanie gets to go to a Tomb Raider event and I don't. Why didn't the Discovery people call my people to make sure the date was OK? ;)

Figures. The one weekend in November I won't be around...

Edit: Removed incorrect referance to the length of ride. In my original post I was referring to what someone else had said, but my writing made it look like I called Tomb Raider a short ride. (read Jeff's post below)

For God's sake it is NOT a short ride. It's longer than any other thrill ride in the park save maybe for Beast and SOB.

Well, I hope I'm not too late but I attempted to RSVP for this shoot. Hopefully I'll see some of you there.
Wabash, I doubt you'll be coming through Columbus. But if you do for some reason I'll tag along with you from there.

Ahh man! What I wouldn't give to live in southern Ohio right about now. :(
We spent two days this summer at PKI. I thought Tomb Raider was great! There's a bit of a novelty factor being that it was my first Top Spin. But my only real complaint was that the ride was too short. The effects were well done and the experience was top notch. I could see how the novelty would quickly wear off though.

Proud to be a C.O.C.K.
Faster Faster.. in some ways I have to agree with you. They obviously toned down the thrill factor in order to incorporate the effects.
