Richie Rich's Coaster? In the Movie.

Hi, I was wondereing what is the coaster in the movie Richie Rich, I know it is a 4 seat BM looper, but I don't recognize it, I havn't seen the movie in several years and was wondering if you had any links or pictures of it because it looked sweet.

I've never seen the movie.

What color is it?

What kind is it (sitdown, floorless, etc.)?

I can probably figure it out for you with this info.

I haven't seen the movie in a long time but if I remember right it was Iron Wolf @ SF Great America.
Although I never have seen the entire movie, I have seen the part with the coaster. I believe it is Iron Wolf but forgive me if I'm wrong.

It is a sitdown, the color of iron wolf but taller and I'm pretty sure it is longer with more inversions.

It musta been Iron Wolf, it isn't that I don't know what Iron Wolf looks like it is just I haven't seen the movie in 5 years and don't remember what it looked like, If I saw the movie again I'm sure I would know it is iron wolf.
Yes, it is the Iron Wolf at SFGAm.

Surfs up in Hollister, CA! Later Dudes...

Well, i guess that's settled! :-)

If it wasnt iron wolf, then maybe it was dragon kahn. Its been a while since i saw it but i do think i remember it being a stand up. So Iron Wolf for the 10th time.

-----------------

The only other coaster I can think that is like that with the same rusty color is Wildfire at SCD. It's a sit-down, but the coaster came out a while after the movie, I think.

Yes, it was Iron Wolf in that movie. Check out COASTER-net.com for a complete listing in progress of rides which have made cinematic appearances.

I remember in the previews for richie rich there was a black invert which must've been sfgam's B: TR.

Its kind of Funny.

It would have been Obviously easier for them to film the Vortex at Carowinds as the roller coaster in the movie, since the movie was made at the Biltmore Estate, which is about an hour from Carowinds, but for some reason, they chose to send the actors up to SFGAm. instead. I Guess it had something to do with the fact that Paramount owns Carowinds.
