Remnants

It's not a defunct park but I think a picnic pavilion at Waldameer was once the loading station for the original Ravine Flyer. It would have been nice if that was incorporated into the design of the new Ravine Flyer II- if not as a loading station, perhaps as part of the queing area- but at least it's still part of the park.

I've heard that too, I think the name of that one is the Lakeside Pavilion. It's the one off all by itself back behind the Wipeout and the Spider. I looked at my pictures online and the only one I can find that has it in it is one with my son on the train in front:

You have disturbed the forbidden temple, now-you-will-pay!!!

That seems to be the one I'm thinking of. I walked into it a few times but there's not anything that would indicate it was the original ride's station. Still, it's fun to imagine it was- a little mystique is never a bad thing!
It would be a whole lot nicer if we could just find a flipping picture of the original RF!!!! Then we could see just exactly how it looked.

That's definitely among the more mysterious lost classics!
