Regional Experts

There should be a way where you could e-mail an expert on a park you are visiting. There could be one in each area and they could be responsible for the news and rumors that deal with their park.
That's a very good idea.
I agree with that. It would cut down on some of the "My park is better than yours" or "Should I go to this park, or this park?" threads because people could ask about a specific park or region in private. If nothing else, maybe we could include our home parks on our member profiles.
I think this could work as long as the "experts" were very impartial.

Agreed DEK...but impartiality doesn't exist on CoasterBuzz, or at least if it doesn I haven't seen it. But I still like the idea -- it'd be cool to have a resource who could at least give general park info even if nothing else.

I like the idea!

It is a great idea, definately, but as for a resource for general info and the overall aspects of the park, isn't that what official park sites are for?

I like the idea too, but I think we could do without. If you want an expert on a certain park or area, just type in that region in the sites search, and e-mail them. If anyone needs an expert on New England, go ahead and ask me! ;)

Love your signature, themeparkne! (Sorry this isn't on topic) :)

There is definitely something to this idea. It is similar to this idea.

It seems like there should be a way to use local park knowledge to this group's advantage.
