Re-located coasters and track records

I have a question...I want to make my track record here as accurate as possible...I want to add Rolling Thunder to my list (used to be at Six Flags Great America, now is Alpine Bobsleds at Great Escape). I don't want to use AB in my track record, because that could become confusing. I was wondering if you could add it to Great America's line up in the database as a re-located coaster?

Anyone? I thought this was a good question...?

That sounds like a good idea. I rode RT too, loved it, but now it's gone ;)

I had this same question and I actually submitted both RT and FlashBack (relocated to SFMM) to be added to SFGAm but they have not been added by the moderators yet. I was hoping they would.

But then again, if you rode a relocated coaster, couldn't you count it as ridden even though it's at a new park? I don't see why not.

The design of the DB doesn't allow for relocated links for coasters, so we have to do the next best thing which is to only list the coaster in it's current location. If you have a question as to the current whereabouts of a coaster, just ask.

I would add that if you're simply going for the count, you can add any coaster to your track record twice.

Darn...I thought that would become confusing adding the coaster from it's new location if you have never ridden it there. From what I hear, Rolling Thunder is a little dufferent now.
