Anyone know if they need beta testers for this? I would looooove to volunteer my services. :D

Sorry SFNE Freak, Batwing Fan SFA is right. As far as I could tell looking at the stations when the rides started out, they look the same.
As for the system specs, figure them to be almost identical to the original series. Keep in mind that Chris designed this to be as close to the original as possible to presumably keep the learning curve simple. In keeping the same type of graphic interface, the game should run fine on a lesser system (much like mine), but would run even better on one with at least a Pentium 3 and a decent amount of RAM. Chris has pretty much created his games to be accessable to the majority.

How long is the wait time from this point?
Why are people asking about floorless coasters? They are already available
And someone mentioned diving loops, does anyone know if there will be diving loops as a choice for inversions?

THey know the floorless coasters are availble, they asked if the floors of the stations would be different, like in real life.

As for the Immelman dives, I'm pretty sure I saw those and the Top Hat element should work as well due to the types of tracks that I saw. I won't guarantee anything, but I'll go back and look at my videotape to see what I got. The X-coaster seemed to have the type of track that can do 90 degree drops and rises, so if that's the case, the elements would probably work on certain traditionals as well.
The LIM, you bet! You can even set it up like the Hulk Coaster and do a lift hill up to a certain point then kick in the LIMs! Again, I'll add in that this is what I observed at the show. Will these make it into the final build, we'll have to wait and see. I've given the name and contact info of the guy in charge of the marketing on the game to Jeff. He is probably quite busy, but had said he'd like to get the word out in interviews and such especially to fan sites (like the definitive one you are on now). Unfortunately, we can only wait for the time being and hope that a meeting between the two can happen soon.

Captain Kirk, no, it will not work with Windows XP. Chris Sawyer hates Microsoft for some reason, and this will be a Linux and Mac only game ;)
Of course it will work in the most popular operating system.
