Hey, I like it. The logo is really clever if you ask me. Most logos suck.
You got that right. I admit that I had to look at it a second time to "get it", but I think that's what makes a good logo- something that isn't outright obvious at first but impossible to ignore once it begins to make sense.
Am I making sense? ;)
As for the more detailed search, I typed in the closest city on the list to me (York PA) and came up with a Location Not Found Error.
Duane Marden has taken his time, energy and money to put together and maintain the most comprehensive site that exists: RCDB is the bible of rollercoasters. Orange looks cool, I liked the blue too, either way, it doesn't get any more detailed than RCDB. Not to leave out Coasterbuzz, which has a slightly different function, and Jeff does a pretty good job with it too.
The previous version allowed you to search for defunct, existing or all parks within a ??? mile radius... you can't pick anymore?
Sure you can. As mentioned earlier, click Amusement Park underneath Advanced Search.
Oh no, I'll be the first to admit that our database here kinda sucks. There just aren't enough hours in the day to maintain the integrity of the database the way Duane does when I've got news and forums to deal with.

I thought the Logo was great the first time I saw it. Then I 'got it', and liked it even more. Now if he'd just set up a shop at Cafe' Press, I'd have an official RCDB shirt to wear to parks. :)
It's like this is church and rcdb is the bible. :)
Let's start a cult about rollercoasters.
