RCDB down?

Yesterday, when I first read that the trouble was fixed, I still couldn't get it to load. Not wanting to be a bummer, I decided to wait another day. I am happy to write that I can get to it again.:)

And Jeff, this site's database more than sufficed during the trouble I experienced. To be honest, I am relying on the "parks nearby" function on RCDB to plan my upcoming SRM trip.

Soory for the misinformation, robocoaster. I was just the messenger. After I posted that, I found out it wasn't fixed but knew it would be first thing this morning, so I figured I'd leave the info here.

Duane's a great guy. I talk to him more than anyone "in the scene" so to speak.

Seems to be problems with the DNS server. They've gone whacky several times now. Whatever happens to them, it's something that's not allowing other systems to get updates from them.

They could bump up the timeout but that shouldn't really be necessary.

What OS and software are they using? It's generally rare to have such frequent DNS problems.
