Only quote what is necessary to make your point ;)

Apparently, jdancisin *does* feel like a nut....GOOD work.....at least it's not a CPNut...;)

Careful Gator....we don't want to jinx anything! It would seem as if he finally got the clue and is just lurking. (Or pehaps he got a dose of reality and is posting like a "normal" member ;) )

Good joke though..... :)

But isn't it funny to see how quickly a CPnut/Seederpoint/Chris Sawyer and/or Pancakes/M:TR reference comes in2 play here;). it's kinda like a CB version of Goodwins Law:

Hopefully it won't jinx us bringing up the past about *certain* posters with a Point obsession.

Hey Jeff why not "pin this" post? It could save some headaches before they start. But definitely the time has come that this needed to be brought up again. As always I thoroughly enjoy coming to the site mostly because of how well it is moderated. A big kudos to Jeff and all of the moderators!

Isn't it interesting how everytime Jeff brings this post back, someone sucks up to him?

What is sad, is how Jeff has to bring this post up every 6 months or so.

Heh...I'm guessing I'm the one that "annoyed" him. Meh.

Example of what NOT to do. :)

Actually, I wanna nag and complain because thats what I do best, but I agree with this. When I quote I ALWAYS scale it down and never quote from a previous post, I think thats written in the messageboard bible or something. When you don't scale done someone's quote, its almost pointless to even quote them because no one will know what you're referring to anyways.
really who cares if someone uses a quote out of context? This site is over edited as it is. I want my $20 back. I can't even get into coastermania this year on the cbclub card anyway.

Uh, people care because it's just simple courtesy and etiquette. Nothing is "over edited." You're imagining things. It's kind of like not putting your feet up on someone else's coffee table when you're a guest.

And if you can't get into CoasterMania, that sounds like your problem, not the club's.

I tend to use quotes a lot, but I always take out what I'm not responding to. Not that I really ever post here much anymore anyway.
I'll say. You and Jess should form the No Talky Hot Chicks Club.

See you here in July I guess...;)

NOTE: Severe fecal impaction may render the above words highly debatable.

Alas the sticky is not working and in two of the latest threads there are people quoting from the previous post above them.

Were they quoting the entire post above them or just a portion?
It's a world of un- original ideas, that's why people most often find a reason to quote.
