Quit having posts disappear into nowhere land...

I have seen many posts show up on the site and get quite a few responses and then disappear completely. I started a post yesterday about woodies and it had over 30 responses and then it just disappeared completely from CoasterBuzz. What gives? This happens quite a few times. You can't even find reference to it in the search engine. Why?

Common topics, or topics that are of a nature described in the TOS, are removed as part of normal moderation. That's why you rarely see things like "Your favorite..." or "Fastest/tallest/greenest" topics here.

Bottom line, it's not personal, it's just how we keep things moving on.

I would just appreciate equal treatment with other posters or thread starters at the site. I have seen many posts against your TOS, yet you fail to nuke them. So, sometimes I can't help to think anything other then it being personal. Also, my thread about woodies was not against your TOS, it may have been similar to a previous post in the past but wasn't on the site for some time.

Since we all have lives, we don't catch everything, and we certainly don't have time to make it personal. One thing I won't be accused of is being unfair. I have no motivation or desire to play favorites. Time is just too precious to bother.

As another moderator, I'll echo Jeff's comments.  It's NOT personal.  Things slip by.  We don't sit in front of our screens 24/7 (in spite of appearances sometimes ;) )  We get out, we go to parks, we work.  In short, we have LIVES.

LOL. C'mon, Like Jeff said everyone has a life and noone has the time to go thru every single thread. If he and the mods went thru every thread I'm sure their wouldn't be too many nonsense threads left.
