CP's DJ's rule!

In the early nineties, it seemed that Great America had TV's in almost every que, coaster or flat. At the time, it was great: They showed whole Looney Toons cartoons, with a few comercials in between. Now, though, I am very thankful that Iron Wolf was the last ride they installed TV's on (excluding the ones in the Batcave on B:TR). Today, over 50% of the stuff is commercials, plain and simple. The rest is all minute-long clips from music videos (mostly of groups niether I nor any of my friends have ever heard of), unknown comedians, Cartoon Network Shows, and the rare Looney Toon. And they always manage to cut those few toons off right before the good parts. Oh, and the loop they have these things on can't be more than three hours. I really wish they would go back to showing stuff that peopel might actually want to watch on those things... As it is now, sky is much more entertaining.

you didn't just say George Carlin is an unknown comedian. tell me you didn't just say that!

Do any of you know how to build a sundial out of a pen and a donut?

At Great America I wish they would just use the TV's the way they were meant to be used. They never turn the volume up high enough to hear anything and when you see a really good cartoon it would be nice to hear it too. Most of the screens are also so sunblasted that you cant see anything anyways (why Six Flags doesnt cover their queues like a certain other park that shall remain nameless is beyond me). Oh and the DJ's are said certain park rule. They definately made my 1 hour 45 minute wait for a certain 300 foot coaster much more bearable.

"Sorry folks, park's closed. The moose out front should've told you."

I really missed the old days when WB owned the Six Flags parks and SFGAdv had good loops to show during the awful lines. The tvs are blown out or unused now, the sound is actually nonexistent in most cases (where the tvs actually work) and makes cartoons less fun to watch without the sound effects and lines everyone knows, and the material on now is worthless.

It really did help when waiting on those excruciatingly long Roaring/Congo Rapids lines in the middle of summer.

Whoops, I guess I forgot about him! I think I was just getting out of TV range all the times he was about to come on, so I never really got to see his spiel.

That is so true, ever since WB gave up the park, the qaulity has went down hill. I dont think it was too long ago when they had their water tower painted like the WB one. To think what Nitro would look like if it had been built priar to premier parks owning them?.
