Please lets not go there. When some else asks you a coaster question, do you start asking them if they are starting a Theme Park or something ? Just becuase I ask a few questions does not mean anything. What if I am just working on getting a bit more knowledgable of Roller Coasters. Is there anything wrong with that ?
Oh yeah, a while back you thought I was 13 yrs. old because on the number on my screen name. Well I'm not 13 yrs. old That number means Nothing !!
Okay, now will you correct my spelling & grammar errors please.

Why does anyone care why he's asking these questions?
They're valid questions, not normally discussed, not redundant, and not poorly phrased....
Leave him alone.
I just dont see someone who is building a park ask these questions on the boards when they can pick up the phone and call or e-mail B&M and get those numbers. Trust me, they would be happy to release them to you if they knew that you were a potential customer. Calling as an enthusiast wont get you anywhere, but a potential client, thats a different story. Sorry, I'm just as skeptical about this as you people were about me :)

WCUSA-The World's largest theme park is coming!
Theme parks will NEVER be the same!
Chris, you have given us reason to believe you! :) Since you're newer here I guess you've missed most of the saga our friend Titan_Fan_13 has given us. It started out with "Some day I want my own theme park". Then threads asking for addresses for all the manufactures. Then went to about 100 threads about different rides identical to this one: http://club.coasterbuzz.com/forums/thread.asp?ForumID=11&TopicID=16091 It culminated with (as Chitown called it) this "soap opera": http://club.coasterbuzz.com/forums/thread.asp?ForumID=11&TopicID=13833
I'm not here to judge, but it has been an interesting saga to watch unfold over the past year or two. Legit buisnessman or kid with big imagination, Titan_Fan_13 has made this board more interesting :)

Three feet of B&M roller coaster track weighs a ton.
The trains weigh an average of three to four tons.
The track is sent out as fast as they can, just depends on the number of trucks they have to use for that particular coaster, just depends on how much the company purchasing the coaster can afford.
The average length of a B&M piece of coaster track is 20 feet long.
The box for the spine is 18 by 18.
There ya go....directly from the engineer at CP.

As for what someone said about the gauge being 48 inches, he is correct, i wasnt sure if you wanted to know that or not. 48 inches from one rail to the next. I will try to remember the other measurements if you want them later on.
And by the way, the reason the lift hill weighs so much is because it is put under one, more stress because the train sits on it a little longer, and two, its totally different structure than the setup that the train runs through. Just look at a B&M lift hill on the new higher coasters, you'll see what i mean.
And as for that 7 foot tall track piece is due to the fact that that is a very high stress point in the ride, and is also closer to the ground, so instead of adding a support, they just made it bigger. If any of you ever ride S: UF you will see what i mean when you look at the bottom corners of the pretzel roll.

Um....the train sitting on the track longer does not increase stress. If the track can support 10 tons, it's not going to stop being able to support 10 tons if the train just sits there.
On the other hand, the added weight of the chain and any other added machinery (anti rollback ratchets?) might create the need for bigger spine.
