Proper Trip Report format?

When posting a trip report from about 7 different park vists where each day of the trip is written at seperate times, how should it be posted? 1 thread where each new update is a reply after the original post, 1 seperate thread for each day or 1 thread where the original post is edited with each new update? I didn't want to break any rules by posting the trip report in an incorrect manner.
There are no rules. I think the format depends on the amount you wrote. I have seen "reports" of only 10 lines. In that case, shove it all into one topic. But if you wrote a nice amount, then go for the separate topics.

If it's long, do it somewhere else first (e.g., Word). That way if you need to break it up to post it, you're safe.... ;)
But beware if you do it some where else...

I don't know if it is just something I am doing wrong, or if it happens to everyone, but when ever I cut and paste from word all formatting (including paragraphs!) is lost.

Everytime I write a TR in word (and mind can be a bit long), I ususally type some unique characters ("****") at the end of each paragraph. That way, after I cut and paste and save, I can go back in and put the paragraph breaks back in by looking for the "****".

"Yes... well... VICTORY IS MINE!"
I usually post several short reports together and longer park reports seperate. I don't post a report on every park I visit only if I have a really good or bad time or if it's a park that doesn't get visited much and you never see a report on.

In mid season when there are several reports written a day it's easy for earlier reports to get lost to the second page and missed by alot of readers especially if no one comments on your report.

Each section is going to be rather long (The 1st section I have written is around 1500 words) so I guess I'll post each section a new thread as I write them (as I am probably going to write 1 or 2 new sections a week). Thanks for the info.
