I agree that CP should open up their SP processing center at least a week before KI's opening. It would just be more convenient for the CP locals who plan on going to KI first. They may want to think about that next year. :) It may help cut down on the opening day lines. :)
I got my voucher from KI and went up Friday evening. Although the line "seemed" long it really didn't take that long. I think we waited about 40 minutes at the most. They were very proficient and we were out of there in no time. The only difference I noticed from this year and last year is last year they had ALL the cameras going. This year they didn't have nearly as many.

I think most of the things being assumed about the system are incorrect. That said, it doesn't mean that everything that it can do is enabled, or that people have been trained how to use it. I think it's understood pretty loud and clear at this point that as long as Kings Island opens first and both parks reside in Ohio (so, you know, always!), there has to be an expectation that passes bought at CP will need to be processed by KI.
Although next year, my understanding is that the passes will be dateless, and you won't need to process anything, just pay for the renewal.

I also heard from someone {{citation needed}} {{who says this?}} that we will be able to trade our KI-branded Platinum Passes for CP-branded ones. I don't know if that's true, but I guess it would be nice since all my other passes have had the Cedar Point logo on them. I'm not even sure why I kept them, but there they are.
You're right Jeff.
From the software I saw it did look like they could change parks, but that doesn't necessarily mean there were other parks listed in the drop down box...Or if they were listed, it doesn't necessarily mean theres any data.
I can access a number of radio station's music logs throughout the country from my computer at work, but theres various data that is impossible to see, even though its there.
