Prettiest coaster W/ no theming.

American Eagle. Espically when it's been freshly painted. Hopefully this season, it'll get painted. I saw a test patch at the top of the lift. The massive lift hill and helix structure must be taken in awe.
guys, ugliest coaster by far: Shockwave @ PKD.

you know, the original black and yellow paint job was pretty cool, in an 80's sort of way. but jeez, what possessed them to paint it orange, green, and light blue?? bleahhh!!!

I have to agree with everyone who said MeanStreak! That coaster looks AWESOME! Again, Kumba does it with the colors and the tropical atmosphere at Busch Gardens. Check out this picture of the train - http://rcdb.com/installationgallery94.htm?Picture=9

TALON! HOLY CRAP that ride looks AWESOME man! I can't believe I forgot about talon...

Busch Gardens Wil. doesn't really count because their rides have a lot of theming... i.e. Alpenghiest.

I have to say For wood Ozark Wildcat, Thunderhead and GhostRider, for steel Xcelerator, TTD and and pretty much all B&M's, they are just SOOOO photogenic.
Talon has my vote, an awesome mix of colors, very eye catching elements, and the way it dominates Dorney's midway... especially at night like in this pic: http://www.rcdb.com/installationgallery735.htm?Picture=14

love at first sight!

Edit: heres the fugliest coaster: http://www.rcdb.com/installationgallery1219.htm?Picture=2, pink and green yuck! *** Edited 10/5/2004 4:04:41 AM UTC by T-W-I-S-T-E-R***

For steel I'd pick Nitro or Dueling Dragons. Nitro for its design simplicity; DD for its design complexity.
Nitro, MF, Talon, Anaconda now looks good on the lake.
Mean Streak is impressive, but Lightning Racers is an absolute symphony in wood. LR gets my vote for most beautiful woodie. My other favorite is the famous view from the top of the first lift on The Beast.
I'd have to go with Apollo's Chariot. Clean lines and nice colors. Millie is a close second. I also love the look of Thunderhead, but needs some time for the grass to grow and the trees to fill back in around it before it will be really attractive.
Wood: Son of Beast-Such a gorgeous lift hill, and I did love my rides on it this season.
Steel: Millennium Force-Beauty, style and grace. The total package. ;)

GhostRider, Xcelerator and TTD are themed coasters...

Wood coasters in white paint certainly stand out, like the American Eagle, Colossus at SFMM, and the Great American Scream Machine at SFoG. The Georgia Cyclone from the drop tower's perspective is very nice. Texas Giant has a classic design from the observation tower. The Lightning Racer is simply a work of art. Superman Krypton Coaster running along the quarry walls is visually impressive. Without the theme, Dueling Dragons would still reign supreme for the steel coasters. The intertwined separate colored tracks never fail to amaze.
Ghostrider. You have to admit, that mass of wood over beach blvd is utterly terrifying and oddly beautiful... especially when you ride it. plus, that dip out of the station is not bad either. shame that they put that tunnel over the first drop, it was such a good view. (although Xclerator works too.)
Oz Cat is very nice! I love that ride and it's lack of theming so much. It doesnt even need themeing.

Personally I like White Cyclone and Belmont's Giant Dipper. Too bad their rides don't quite live up to their looks.
