Prettiest coaster W/ no theming.

Niece, freudian slip? ;)
Never seen it in person, but Goliath @ SFH is a sharp looking coaster in all of the photos I've seen, especially a few of the night shots on rcdb with all of the green lights.

;)

Give me a break Corey, that's a themed coaster....it's themed as a parking lot ;)

Are you talking about 'Dude where's my ride:the ride'?
/\ lol funny!

I have to agree that Mean Streak is impressive. I can remember thinking so since they first built it. To bad its a very "Meh" ride.

Thunderhead is georgeous. Swamp Fox is too. I have to agree with X. I think the green and purple Goliath and XGF are also very attractive. Oh, and PCar's Top Gun.

Now on to fun coasters (and coasters that look fun), but are freakin Ugly:

Worst offender in my book: Storm Runner.
then Hypersonic XLC (granted I've yet to ride either)

Can't forget that big one @ the point, TTD (And I'm sure Ka will have the same effect on me, fun, but fugly).

Thats all I can think of. Oh, and welcome to the Off season!

Oh my god...Storm Runner is the least photogenic beast I have ever seen in my life.

And I can't believe no one else caught this...gator, that sounds like a personal matter to me. Let's keep this a family oriented site, mmmkay? ;)

Wicked Twister is really nice to look at, Ninja @ SFoG looks pretty cool.
Tekno, in the gadv thread, some people had thought that your signature had something to do with Ka. Care to explain?
I have always thought Talon was a beautiful coaster. Now, I haven't actually seen it in person, but I LOVE the color scheme on both the track and the trains.
Mindbender at SFOG was always one of my favorites. Although, now, I think there's some Batman style theming. Lame.

Whizzer at SFGAm.

Beast. Even though it can't be seen from the park, when riding, it is quite enchanting.

I think that Magnum as well as wicked twister's location creates an even better ride experience. these two rides have to be up there as far as prettiest coaster with no theming.

I liked the location of Nitro as well with the trees and the lake.

Ozark Wildcat. It looks totally different from a number of different angles, all of which look fantastic. The tight curves give it a much more contoured look than the bigger woodies

Sure! Some people (Andy, for starters, who probably remembers that sig I had that was backwards that one time. But its okay, Andy is still my boy and all:)) thought that I had posted the stats for Kingda Ka, but stated the backwards in my sig.

I was actually refering to a passage in a book, and the "Its coming" is in reference to one of the movies inspired by the book.

Maybe I should have waited a few days to put up that sig?

What can I say, HUGE woodies are at least nice to LOOK at...shame they *normally* don't ride that well...with the exception of Giant, that thing is a BEAST...(pun abslutely intended).

I agree, Bill. I enjoy looking at huge woodies, but most of them are eye candy only. Oh wait, it's coasters we are talking about.....;-)

I would have to say the Son Of B**** is the most visually appealing coaster I have ever laid eyes on. Too bad it's all looks. ;-)

Just wait til ya get to TX, Tina, then you'll know that woodie size doesn't necessarily have an *inverse correlation* to ride quality, either...TX Giant, the exception that proves the rule! :)

You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)

Definitely MF. There's nothing like driving on the CP causeway and seeing that big blue steel structure. Actually all the coasters at CP are nice to look at except Wildcat.

But Wildcat is one of the best coasters there. ;-) It may be fugly but it's still fun.
