Look at this list of LIM coasters, and you will see that most of them are Premier with only a few being Intamin, and you will also see that Premier came out with LIM's first.
They worked on Mr. Freeze to get it open by the next year, and for the most part, it works fine. Unlike some other rides, they eventually got it right which is different than what I can say with X, Top Thrill Dragster, Deja Vu, B&M Flying Coaster have problems, Superman at Magic Mountain (Still can't run both sides), Vekoma Flying Coasters have problems, and so on.
If I were an amusement park, I would indeed buy a Premier coaster, but I would want more capacity as I said for even their shuttle coaster. I wouldn't buy anything new that hasn't been out already because why would I need to.
They have such great coasters in Mr. Freeze, Joker's Jinx, Runaway Mountain, and Backlot Stunt Coaster that I don't feel there is a reason to buy a ferris wheel coaster. I wouldn't buy X from S&S, and that's for sure.
I also wouldn't buy Kingda Ka, or Top Thrill Dragster. Sure, Kingda Ka makes a statement that it's so high, but how much money does that ride cost? Who knows how Maverick is doing? I don't think highly of that ride, but is it broke a lot? I don't know.
So, I don't consider Premier a failure one bit. *** Edited 6/18/2008 12:06:43 AM UTC by Spinout***
Glad to hear that everything is running smoothly with Max RPM, let's just hope that continues...
Also note that guests are queued in a brick and steel manufacturing plant-style building which features the world's first Karaoke QueueĆ Line where guests are able to test their skills as a British rock star. That's cool and needed too, something to keep peeps entertained while they wait in what has been said is the longest line in the park.
