Prayers almost answered

I can tell you exactly why I hate it. It was the most painful coaster I have ever been on, and that is without my arm getting dislocated and relocated within the course of the ride. And yes, you will never see me in line for it again. If I want another experience like that, I will find the most potholed street I can find and drive at high rates of speed down it.

Anyways, I think three months of pain and physical therapy have given me the right to hate this coaster and complain about it to all that care to listen.

They said they won't ride it again. So staying out of line shouldn't be to hard.

I suffered far more pain on The Voyage than SOB last week.

The difference is that The Voyage is actually fun to ride.

Pain is subjective.

To being an "us" for once - instead of a "them".

IMO, one of the main problems with SoB is the trains. If they somehow got trains that tracked better, yet had lapbars that didn't fall down on you during the ride and pin you in so tightly, then the ride might be more enjoyable.

Could they possibly get restraints that don't ratchet? If they were like the hydraulic ones on SROS and MF, then they would be less apt to fall down on you during the ride and pin you in.

This was the worse part to me--being pinned in and shaken a lot--a definite uncomfortable ride. Also, another thing that might help is to add a lot of padding to the trains.

I though it was rougher than it has ever been. It was the first time I've ridden it in three years, and it just got strike three with me. I will never ride it again.

Don't confuse Voyage's intensity with roughness. I think Voyage is very smooth and well tracked.

It's not just the roughness and the trains that make SOB bad. The layout is very boring. The hills are so large and drawn out that you just creep over the top of them, kinda like Millenium Forceless.

To those people that tell me that "You Ohio State fans think your better than everyone." It's because we are. :)

I would've rather seen the Beast burn down more than Son of Beast. I'll never ride the Beast again... Unless somebody gets me tanked and I don't realize it until it's too late.

A poor layout, will always make for a poor ride, no matter what you try to do to make the ride enjoyable. You can't turn a Chevette into a Corvette.

Maybe they can keep the loop and have Intamin come in and redo the layout then they call it Bastard Son of Beast! :)
