POP Forums v7.0

Hey there... just a suggestion before the eventual implementation of the new version of POP Forums here on CB:

I noticed on Kennywood Boulevard that there's a button at the top of each forum page for "Mark posts in this forum read." I think that's a great feature, and it should really come in handy if you don't have time to sift through everything.

The only problem I forsee with that is that the only place to mark all of the posts read is on the main forums page. Granted, it's only a few clicks, but if you're a few pages deep in to some topic it'd be nice to have the option of just being able to clear everything from there, instead of having to go back a number of pages to do so before you leave.

Don't get me wrong here, I wouldn't want the individual clear to go away, it'd just be nice to have both available on the sub-pages.

Oh, and how about an "anything" forum!

Call me crazy, but I already see a "Mark Posts Read" link atop every page in the forum.

And I'm assuming that you're being sarcastic about the "anything" forum. There was a pretty heated thread on that very issue recently.

bigboy: He's talking about the forum over at http://kennywood.coasterbuzz.com, not these.

I'll think about that. Props to Joe for putting the forums up on KB with barely a mention of what it would take. It's not a simple upgrade at all.
