Podcast Forum

I think this site should have a forum category for the Podcast. I searched Podcast, I don't see anything. It would be separate from the General Buzz.

By the way, when is the next Podcast. If we had a category, we could find out exactly when it's coming out. Today, next week, or two weeks from now.

Three things:

1. The podcast is weekly. They get put online sometime Monday evening. If we have to skip one for whatever reason a post will be made letting everyone know. (Like last week's :) )

2. Every uploaded podcast gets it's own news item post where discussion usually takes place about that week's show. (for example: October 22nd's show)

3. It's Jeff's site and a redesign is not far away so perhaps that is a consideration?

The plan is that news items will have two points of entry on the new site, from both the forum and the news section. Otherwise, you can comment right there in the news section. I just posted the newest one.

Why do we even need a podcast in the first place? Not everyone has,or wants an I-pod you know.

It's just as easy to post news to the site so that everyone has access to it,not just those privileged enough to afford,or want to buy in I-pod.

You don't need an iPod to listen to any podcast.

It's an mp3 file. If you have a PC to view the site, you can listen to the podcast.

You need to first listen to podcast BFSFA before assuming that it's full of secret news that only iPod owners can access. Hell... just clicking on the Podcast link would have cleared up most of your misconceptions.

Why do we need pictures? Why do we need track records? Even if the podcast DID need special equipment or a paid subscription(and it doesn't), it's an optional bonus feature. You're not obligated to listen, but that's not a reason for us to NOT do it.

Even if nobody listened, we're having fun doing it, and that's good enough for me.

And if we didnt have podcasts how would I know that Lord Gonchar's name is ***...huh...huhhh??? :) :)
