PNE Coaster Event Confirmed

Oh Bill.... Ethyl could only be honored to play an event like that, but sadly that won't happen. Besides, drumming in the early morning hours just kills the wrists when it's cold.

Oh, and man! I can't wait for you to try the mouse. You will be terrified... especially if Ritalin Boy shows up! ;)

That mouse is definitely crazy!! It was my wife's first mad mouse and she almost wouldn't ride anymore. That ride scared the bajeepers out of her. I would love to have a few more rides open, especially Hellevator. Let me know if there's anyway I can try to convince them to add more rides.

Aaron, that mouse scares the crap out of me too! I am actually afraid to let my kids ride it, thinking they will die, and I would be responsible for letting them go to their deaths....;)

The PNE is considering being open later in the day for rides on Coaster, but the other rides will not be operating as they want to focus on the Coaster. The early opening is to accomodate the media and local residents on their way to work so they can stop and get at ride or two in
on Coaster. The park will be fully open the following day.

Once I get the new schedule I will post it here.

I e-mailed suggesting a later time, but I don't think it will do much good. It sounds like the event is more for the GP than any coaster enthusiasts that might be there. We'll have to see. I'll be there either way though. I already asked for the day off work. Let me know if you want to meet up either at the park or somewhere to carpool.

Good news! The schedule for the PNE Coaster event has been changed to 7:00AM to 7:00PM with the Plaque ceremony at 10:00AM. I hope to meet a lot of you there!:)However no other rides in the park will be open. It's all about Coaster!
