You guys only wish you knew my strageties.

With your permission, I'd like to use that for my signature...

Too late.

You don't need a parachute to jump out of an airplane. You need one to do it again.

Sprinting like a boss

Superior strategies

I need no Fast Lane

Correction: superior strageties.

Know the difference.

With fastlane as my strategy I could have got 70 rides without waiting on one coaster before leaving for another. Nya!

I just rode about 70 rides in a four day period at carowinds when I was at the park for only a total of 20 hours.

That's only 2 days worth of park time with 70 rides; most of them coasters.

And I once got over 120 rides in a day at GAdv. And it had nothing to do with strategies, however you spell it. It had to do..as it most often does..with crowd size, weather, and timing. You can have all the strategies and sprints in the world. Sounds like they often work for you. But they ain't the be-all and end-all for everybody.

120? How on Earth did you pull that off? I think my record was around 80 in a day, and that was Coasting for Kids where I never left the train on Steel Force except for lunch.

There was simply no one there. There couldn't have been 500 people in the park. It was Easter Sunday three years ago, chilly early season day. I had most of those on Toro, about 20 on Nitro, the rest spread around a little. Those kinda days don't happen too often, though, of course. I've been to GAdv twice this season and I only have two Toro laps. Kingda Ka, Mezzaro, and Skully, on the other hand...

Seriously? You guys count how many times you cycle through the rides throughout your visit? "One!" when you are on Afterburn, "TWO!" when you ride Boo Blaster, "THREE!" when you ride Dominator?

You guys are weird. lol

sirloindude's avatar

I do it, but unless I'm actually marathoning a ride, I forget how many laps it was after a couple days. For example, I snagged a 21-lap Afterburn marathon back in September, but I can't for the life of me remember how many times I rode Intimidator.

That's right, Tyler. You're not the boss of Carowinds after all. ;)

I'm getting old, so I'd probably lose count after about eleven. :D

I don't normally count, but when there's ERT, sometimes I do, or if I ride a ride a bunch of times on a dead day I will just to see how much I can ride.

Monday and Wednesday were very busy, though. I got 8 more rides done in an hour this morning. This was my first trip to Carowinds.

When you're done riding do you laugh like the Count on Sesame Street?

Hi

Funny you should say that..last year at CFK, I annoyed the heck out of my riding partner (also ex) by doing that very thing at the end of each of the first 60 or so laps on Steel Force. (And NO, that's NOT why she's my ex!)

I can't speak for your ex, but that is the reason I moved to Denver. That joke had about a one lap run time. ;-)
