With track now on site, do you think the ride could open this year?

I would imagine that it will open this year. But, I wouldn't expect it any earlier than mid-season.

Gee whiz, I thought Coasterkid promised us it was going to MiA. You mean he was wrong?

I thought CF was supposed to IMPROVE THE PARK?

I concur with Chuck.

I doubt it would be ready for this season considering there is still track and supports to be taken down at GL. If they do get it up, probably be towards the end of the season. I think they would hold off and get it ready for next season. But then again, who knows what Cedar Fair has in store.

What are the odds that X-Flight will become the second ride to carry the BORG Assimilator moniker?

Zero, considering that CF is trying to get away from all things Paramount.

Borg... maybe not so much. Maybe something dumb.... haha cedar fair has a weird way on naming things, Ex-flight?

Maybe CF will manage to get it to work now that they have a reason to.

I'll bet they call it Stealth. Just you watch.

I think several other rides will get renamed as well. No clue about Tomb Raider, though!

I don't think they're going to change the name.

CF was the one who gave it the name X-Flight in the first place when they took over GL. It's not like they're buying Batman: The Ride from SFNO and have to rename it.

The question becomes... Does this help Geauga Lake or hurt Kings Island more?

X-Flight has horrible capacity, which was not a problem at Geauga Lake. At Kings Island? Can we say three hour lines? The only ride with worse capacity at Kings Island will be another Vekoma which happens to be Red and Yellow.
