HE did say that the third attraction will not be a pay-per-play either.
Siebert is spelled just fine, but I'm left with a question....did Jeff use the phrase "pay-per-PLAY", or were you paraphrasing...if HE used the word "play" that could be a strong clue...;). Siebert and Mandt, never done playing with enthusiasts' minds - gotta love that!

I think PKI could be pulling the same trick Knoebels pulled just recently. A lot of hype about nothing. Knoebels put a teaser on their website months before an announcement, only to say that they will refurbish the water slides and get a used roundup and used skilift. Either this is the case, or they are already mixing some 2004 hints with some 2003 ones. It's not that often you see a park add a major coaster as well as several other rides in the same year.

PKI has said many many times that there were going to be several new attractions for next season. I've seen and heard Jeff Siebert do this sort of thing for the past few seasons. He is a master of creating hype and interest about the smallest of things that happen in the park. Did we forget about the hyped secrecy surrounding TR:TR already?? I wouldn't read too much into his comments, other than the fact something else is coming to PKI and that it could be almost anything. It's just Jeff being Jeff.
BTW, he did say that it was not a "pay-per-play". The rumors I've heard range from a waterpark expansion to a new movie in the simulator.

I love when people do that. :)
Thanks Beast_rocks. Maybe the Sky Ride idea wasn't as possible as I thought then. I'm very happy that the webcam may return this winter! At least we'll have something else to help us get through the off-season!
Danny aka Koaster Kid (thanks Rob)
Danny,
Jeff did mention 20,000 feet, but it was more in his style of "pulling everyone's legs at the same time with a large rope and a couple of park vehicles" way of doing it.
As for yet another announcment, my guess is a new simulator movie could be one or possibly something else, depending on your viewpoint........or depending on what you think is new.
Oh, and Brent, we weren't in Amsterdam. LOL!
-Sean(who thinks we may start to see some major construction going on very soon......and it's not the new super-flat)
Thanks, I wasn't there to hear everything he said, but I should have known not to take anything he says seriously! He's such a goofball, but that's what makes him such a great PR guy for the park. I'm speechless about him and his little "game". =)
I'm getting the same feeling you are about another major construction project, but my guess is that we won't be able to ride it finished until 2004. My guess is that it will be a coaster (I'm having trouble of thinking of things to park *doesn't* have), but whatever it is, it should be an exciting year!

LOL Sean
He mentioned 20,000 feet when I said jokingly "So it's going from Sonny to Papa huh?"
The model in the store window was too much though. And I thought this was a family park. LOL
