PKI 2002?!?!

I talked with Jeffrey Seibert at the press day...sadly he didn't give me many hints :( But I want to know all the rumors that everyone has heard. I've heard a Gio. tilt and a 378ft giga twister that's 10,000ft long. I'd like to hear from any one and every one that has heard a rumor.

You can't run and you can't hide...the beasts at PKI
I've heard the rumor about the giga going along the Little Miami in the back of the park. Something to the height of 350 ft though, and it's rumored to be a airtime monster. But i've also heard that there will be 2 for 2002 so.... who knows?

PKI REALLY, REALLY needs to get a new line-up of shows. There is really nothing this year. The park needs to get back it's variety in attractions. There are too many teenagers walking about that don't do anything, it would be nice if they became even MORE family oriented.
They need to get their figures up.
Are you serious John? More family oriented? Ever heard of Nick Central, Hanna Barbara Land, The Racer, Adventure Express, RRReptar, Wild Thornberrys, The Slime Bowl show, Scooby's Mystery Show at the Enchanted Theatre, Beastie, Phantom Theatre... I wish they would get back to the adult/teen group. Kids almost have more to do than the adults. Sure what the adults have is excellent, but the kiddie/family parts are beyond masterpiece. They've pleased the families. Please the thrill seekers...even more!!! Giga! Giga! Giga! Floorless! Floorless! Water Coaster! :) :) :)

all about PKI,
the Beasts` Den!!!!!!!!
I doubt that PKI is going to build a rollercoaster in 2002.. I'd like to see that, but I doubt it. Cuz they have added one in 98, 99 2000, and 2001. I think that 2002 will be a break of coasters for PKI.

I could see them getting a dark ride, or some flatrides, or another cool atraction like that. But not a coaster

Well the 2001 coaster could be considered a 1/4 of a coaster considering the fact it is only't 45 seconds long and probably cost next to nothing to build. 2000 attraction was probably planned out for a while so you can be that they had the money way befor they started building. 99 and 98 attractions where face off and drop zone. I would say drop zone probably ran 2 - 3 million and face off was anywheres from 2-6 million. They have had a awesome attendance rate the last few years so you can bet that with all of the extra cash they are going to go big next year due to they 30th anniversery and then take a break the 2003 season.
I know that PKi has added a coaster every year since `98 but there is still a possibility for another roller coaster! I don`t think they`re taking KCKC just for flat rides. If they build another dark ride what would they do with Phantom theater? Hopefully the new dark ride, if they get one, will be the best ever created! I would rather have a coaster though. For what its worth, in the brake run before the station of the Beast and they took out some of the supports to make room for I think an acess road. Could this be for a new coaster or to acess the new ride? If they don`t get a new coaster in 2002 then hopefullt they will get a B& M in 2003!
Everybody also has to remember that next year is the park's 30th anniversary. That in it self is a major reason to add something very big.
Your right Sinker515. 2002 is PKI`s 30th anniversary so they can add something big!

I totally agree.
I know PKI focuses on the family a lot, but enough is enough already.
I read a wild rumor on Thrillride.com that had me rolling on the floor. It said that the park is going to get the world's first vertical drop flume ride, a TA2K with the world's tallest loop at 215 ft., and maybe a B&M flying coaster. One word... RIIIGGHHTT!:)

ya and it was PGAs 25 aniversery and we got family rides.

are you ready to go vertical?...V2 SFMW 2001 ...
...And wasn't it Vallyfair or Worlds Of Fun's anniversary, and they got nothing? It might not mean that PKI wont get anything though.

For Paramount`s Kings Island`s 15th anniversary they got The Vortex. for their 25th they doubled the size of Water Works and for their 20th they added Phantom Theater and what is now Topcat`s Taxi Jam. They still can add a roller coaster, because to me, a roller coaster is "adventurous" like the park map says the 2002 attraction will be. We`ll just have to wait and see what huge surprise PKI has in store for us!
