CP! Still the coaster capital of the world in 2002!
My fellow Americans; Let's Roll!

I don't know why PKI isn't brought into those debates more than SFWoA. It is nowhere near the same level that PKI and CP are on at all. Maybe more people have been to both CP and SFWoA since they're so close?
It is possible that it has to do with coasters alone when CP and SFWoA are compared as they both probably have more really outstanding coasters people consider: CP(MF, Magnum, Mantis, Raptor); SFWoA(X-Flight, BKF, Villain, SUE), while PKI has fewer outstanding(FOF, SOB), but several more great coasters for their kind I believe.
This is a coaster site. They're going to talk about the park's coasters. If it were about great parks overall, we would hear more about IOA, BGW, SFGAm, and Disney.
Sorry for coming in to this conversation but he asked.

I don't see why Paramount is any less viable than CF. Both have two parks with 3+ million in attendance, do a great business, have extraordinary rides and experiences, and are great in guest services. Paramount is big on theming(TRTR, SHM, Nick) and prototype projects(XLC, SOB, Stealth, FSS). Cedar Fair is big on... Cedar Point? For what they bring in, I think CF runs their parks very well, but so does Paramount. I think Paramount is kind of your middle ground between CF and SF. They bring a little of both to their parks and make them very successful and well-rounded for everyone.
DDFire, when has Cedar Fair even been innovative besides with a few choice rides at KBF? To my knowledge, CP has never been innovative except for a twist. But Paramount not being biggest, fastest, innovative? You mentioned TRTR and SOB, but that's not the half of it. There's Hypersonic, Stealth, Drop Zone, Flying Super Saturator, RRR, Flight of Fear, Volcano, Invertigo and before Paramount there was The Beast, King Cobra, Screamin Demon, The Bat...
Rollergator, actually, I think Shaggy and Sean F. have represented the park extremely well since they joined Coasterbuzz. Both have a lot of interesting stuff to say about the park and I know there's a lot of people out here who like to listen.
Overall, the park won me over in 2000 with SOB and continued to do so and even surpassed what they could have done for 2001, so I have high respect for it as a park a business for doing so. I'm sure we'll see them continue to be successful with their family attractions for years to come, but that doesn't mean they'll ever forget the teen/young adult group and coaster fans. Jeff Siebert is a fan himself.
I just think that CP gets a LOT more "air-time" here on the buzz due largely to the VOLUME of those folks who constantly shout "CP,CP, CP" all the time...I love CP, but it's hardly the ONLY park out there...

However, PKI's biggest draw is to Columbus and Cinci. We don't even get PKI TV ads up here in Cleveland. There's nothing forgotten about it. As an enthusiast, I get a season pass every year and visit several times. It has nothing to do with which park is better or whatever.
