PKD, will they take us HIGHER

Phaethon, just because Virginia already has a hypercoaster doesn't mean it won't get another. Ohio already had one, (Maggie) and Cedar Point still put Millennium Force in, technically, Son of Beast is also a hypercoaster. That's 3! Plus, Virginia is bigger.

PS- What does the company have to do with it? If a park wants a certain company, I don't think that company would so no just because another one of their coasters is nearby. If what you are saying is true, then SFGAM needs to lose a few arrows. ;-)

over 100 coasters in the works this year for me to ride... YES!

It just makes more sense if you're Paramount IF you're wanting to put a hyper somewhere to put it at PC. Everything I've heard says they'd put it behind Hurler and wrap it behind Skycoaster. It's a great location. The nearest hyper is probably about 8 hours north at BGW, and they need to follow up the success of S:UF 2 hours down the road at SFoG with something nice to try to regain the foothold they've had since TG:TJC was built. That's been quite a few years now.

Face it, in the southeast (excluding Florida), it's just SFoG and PC. The next closest park just might be SFKK (6 hours) or the Orlando parks (7+ hours).

Sorrrrrrrry folks! Parks closed. The moose out front should have told you.

If any Paramount Park receives a giga coaster it will be King's Island. Infact an employee told me that they were but I did not believe him but now that this little rumor comes along he might be right! Face it, PKD doesn't need a giga but King's Island sure does.
Why does PKI need a giga more than PKD seeing as they already have a hyper?

Well they dont have a tradiontal hyper. Plus believe it or not they compete w/ Cedar point and SFWOA. They have both parks beat in the wood department bt when it comesto steel they are third. So if they got a Giga/Tera or whatever they will call it they would close in on them in the steel department.

Well PKD has both SFA and BGW as competition and those two parks already have hyper coasters as well so PKD is just as much in need of a hyper as PKI is in order to remain competitive.

I know PKD needs I hyper but if any park gets the Giga it would be PKI.
as much as i would love for pkd to get one(pkd being my home park), it is extremely unlikely. i will not lie, superman is my favorite coaster, and i do want pkd to get a hyper/giga, but its very unlikely. i also dont think it will be a B&M if they do get one. unless they are still really p/o about the volcano problems in 1998. im with most people, show me some information from a solid source first!
And then it would seem like they are following suit with Cedar Fair....something uncharacteristic of Paramount. Hello!!!
