PKD: Hypersonic open, Record-Breaker for 2003!

Now, I have zero clue what this thing will be, but it would be cool if it was a B&M Dive Machine. After all, there is a recording on Oblivion that says "Don't Look Down" which plays right before the train engages the holding brake at the top of the drop.

On the other hand, it could be a tower ride, as has been stated earlier.

It is a tower ride, an intamin gyro-tower that will be 305 feet tall.

Why would Paramount Park break another Paramount Park's record? That is stupid. Oh wait it is going in King's Dominion that explains it. If it i a gyro drop it will not break Drop Zone's tallest gyro drop record. If they do do that then what next? A woodie longer, faster , and has a double loop?

Funny thay you should mention that PKIfanatic, I originaly heard a rumor that PKD would be adding a hyper woodie back behind volcano but that recently changed to a rumored drop ride and low and behold a drop ride it is.

There's always next year for the hyper woodie but after this I wouldn't be surprised if PKD went straight for adding an intamin giga coaster instead,I'm so going to PKD next year.

PkI Fan - I'm sure this is not the first time Paramount has broken its own record. Do you really think the citizens of Cincinnati are going to care that a park 1,000 miles away - that they'll probably NEVER go to - has a taller drop ride?

LoL its not a 1,000 miles away its more like 500, I don't think its taller honestly, and I don't care. ITS A GYRO DROP NOT A DIVE MACHINE!!!!!!!!!! and by the way, I doubt they will get another Hyper woodie for a while.

Uh, yeah because I am one of them. Thank you vary much. To ride a record breaking ride is something that you value. It also adds some excitement to the ride. Like when I went to Kentucky Kingdom and was in line for the Hellevator, I heard people talking about Drop Zone and how it is the tallest Free Fall Drop in the world and that made me feel good. To know that I have ridden the the tallest free fall ride in the world and how lucky I am to have the record breaker at my home park. Same goes for the Son Of Beast, The Beast, and Face/Off.

Oh yeah, and you better believe now that Kings Island will be getting some kind of record breaker now.
