IT'S BACK!!!!!!
==================================================
WHHHHOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!Wait, what's that sound? Could it be?
Indeed, HyperSonic made a triumphant return to service on Thursday - WELCOME
BACK XLC!!!! We have two trains running. Testing went extremely well, but
took a bit longer than expected. So, if you haven't ridden this monster,
make your plans to get to PKD!!! The only air-launched roller coaster in
North America IS BACK! And thank you for your patience while we made our
modifications. We're certain you'll agree that it was worth the wait.
Attached are some photos of the lucky folks who got the very first return
ride and some shots of the modified trains.Oh, by the way. Keep an eye on your e-mail for another update later today.
2003 will see ANOTHER record breaker come to Paramount's Kings Dominion and
we're just about ready to unveil it. Hold your breath and don't look down!Mark Riddell

Neat-o... I love Drop Zone's! Check out PKD's website. It is now updated on the front page saying Hypersonic is back and it has a video and pics. I like the new trains!

Aughhh look out there are Mice all around
I was thinking the exact same thing Coaster Ken. It seems weird that they would announce it so early for just a freefall ride. Interestingly, earlier in the year, I heard a rumor of something big coming to PKD and the announcement of a record breaker coming adds more to my thinkings. Can anyone say Teracoaster? :).
The thought of a large addition does nto suprise me. I kind of expected it.
Just remember that next years ACE Con is at PKD.
Typically ACE has the inside scoop on parks that are getting large addition projects. It factors into their decision to have the Cons there.

Shaggy - you're exactly right regardiong the ACE Con connection. Most ACE events are in conjunction with park that have just opened new coasters. That is also why I have been suspecting GCI wood at BGW in 2003.
Matthew - who is sometimes one of the "people who knows" but not in this case.
