Pittsburgh Park

Well when this park does open, I just hope they partner up with that Ride Safety Organization group or whatever. Not to mention the Moldovan wine importers (Great American Whoozamacallits from Idaho).

They all seem like such a natural fit for each other. Plus they could put links for each other on their websites. Along with the Campaign to Re-Elect Ed Markey.

Now, what's this about phallic shaped rides on naked mountains?

I'd believe in it 100% if he was wanting to build a FEC, even if it was a large one, but I feel his "project" is a little too big.

I do understand somewhat his line of thinking though...

I keep asking local charaties around State College if they want to help me build a Halloween Haunt to help them raise some money. A lot of peope do not believe in what I am trying to do, or do not believe that I can do what I say. It really makes it difficult to get anything off the ground. With help, I know for sure that I could start and continue a great yearly event for the community, and raise money for a good cause. I find my situation very frustrating, to say the least. Maybe next year...

We don't know this guy personally (well I don't anyway), but going on what he publicly shows us, he doesn't seem capable of putting this park together by himself. He needs professionals to help him manifest his dream.

If you skipped all the way down here without reading my whole post...I somewhat relate to this guys ambitions and dreams, but I think they are way too lofty.

I don't know, it looks pretty legit to me, what with them opening with:

1. the world's longest roller coaster

2. the world's tallest outdoor waterslide

3. the world's longest lazy river

I mean, every little park starts out with these!! Duh. ;)

Does anybody think it would be disrespectful to take the worlds longest record from The Beast?

Maybe Utopia is moving from New England to Pittsburgh? What is it with these pie in the sky fantasy parks with no capitol or corporate endorsement to back it up? Roller Coaster Tycoon is just a game.

Islands of Adventure was built in Orlando Florida where parks can be open year around in the tourist capitol of the US.

Maybe Disney can install their parks in Paris, Tokyo and Hong Kong, but Pittsburgh?
