Photo Update

How long does it usually take for pictures to be added? I uploaded a few pictures last week and they're still up yet. Just wondering...

We don't accept all photos, and they're approved whenever I think about approving them.

With an answer like this, I don't see any reasons to ever send pictures again...

It's because the site doesn't need to show every picture fro each Tom, Dick, and Harry out there. There is a level of quality Jeff wants to maintain with the images. And as far as the frequency, Jeff is one busy guy. The image will get reviewed when he gets around to it.

Hey, you asked why they weren't up, I gave you the answer. I just looked and your photos don't meet our specifications. Many are too grainy or over-exposed, some are too wide. I'm not trying to knock you here, but quality is important if we're to maintain a reputation for having good content.

Well at least, now I know the REAL reason why my pics were not selected (i.e. too grainy, overexposed or too wide). I accept criticism, and had you told me this before, I wouldn't have made a fuss. By the way, if a pic is too wide, do you request a smaller one?

Altough, personally, I'd prefer to see some grainy overexposed pictures of a ride I've never seen before, than no picture at all. Then again, I understand your quality issue.

Hopefully, next time I go to Fujikyu or any other park for which you have no pictures, my pictures will be of better quality (now I have a real camera, not just a throwable one, so the quality should be better) so the coaster enthusiasts can have, at least, an idea of the rides look like before going.

There are literally a hundred photos queued every time I look, so it's impossible for me to respond to them all.

I apologize if it appeared I was snapping, but with hundreds of items submitted to CB every month (coasters, parks, photos, news, etc.) it's very hard to respond to "what happened to my submission."
