Personal Coaster Stats

Jeff, I know this would be very time consuming, and prolly is just impractical, but like this is...its just a suggestion...actually two of them. Anyways, you know how we can keep track of the coasters we've ridden and post them in our info? Well, why not have us select how many times we've ridden a certain ride? A lot of people have ridden Millennium Force, but how many times have each ridden it? once? twice? fifty? a hundred? You get my Po!nt, right? Also, could it be possible to talley how "far" you've traveled on coasters(and since there's like billions of coasters out there, maybe just use ones from the more popular parks)? I used my spreadsheet on my computer along with the track lenghts of all the coasters I was on this past season and I figured out that I traveled over 138,000ft (26.25Mi)...could any of that be implimented at all?

I think knowing that information and sharing it is borderline creepy! Seriously though, I have to evaluate site changes on a value proposition at this point, meaning I have to consider what return or improved usage any given feature would provide. If it's too low, I'd rather spend time on something else.

Nah, you're not alone:

(I only started keeping track of # of laps last year, so I don't know about lifetime rides on any coasters except the ones I rode for the first time last year... ;) )

Anyway, although a few of us might use this feature, it'd be pretty tough for us as users to come up with the numbers at this point (although I'd LOVE to see how many times people would claim they've ridden, say, X-Flight ;) )

Its nice to know I'm not the only "Freak" out there...Since last season was my first ride on a rollercoaster in over 10 years (I don't count the 3 other rides one's in my lifetime--Avalanche Run (2), and the double loop at SFO (Geauga Lake))...so lets back up a second...Since last season was my first ride on a REAL rollercoaster, I was able to keep track over my 3 visits to Cedar Point of which coasters I went on and how many times I went on each...Raptor (my personal fave) was top with 8.

Having just started riding coasters over the summer, I have kept track (pun intended) of the number of times I have ridden each coaster. I would enjoy any of these features BoP01 is talking about.

Is it just me or does Hypersonic look like one of those coasters you would see on Looney Toons?
DUDE! I thought I was the only one, I also use Excel(and my 440 and growing coaster database) and use all of those wacky formulas to figure out info. I think it's pretty cool to see how many feet or miles of coaster track or even inversions that you have been over.

For me around 150,000 feet or 28.5 miles, and 154 inversions. And thats only on 29 different coasters!
