Personal Coaster Nicknames?

i like to call to Millenium Force "The Big MF-er"
I always call Rebel Yell @ PKD "Uno" because it was my first coaster. Also, my dad can never remember the name of Joker's Jinx so I've started calling it "the launched one" much more than I should.

I did that last year @ my school field trip.

May 5th, Gurnee, Illinois, "I'm sprinting for V2. Damn...not open yet. I'm the only one standing here."
Good call on those coaster nicknames coaster lobotomy, lol.
My friends, relatives, and I call Shockwave at SFGAm "that thing that makes brain matter flow out of your ears after 10 rides in a row"

Hows that for a nickname? I always thought nicknames are supposed to be shorter than the name.

-------------
V2, Deja Vu... how can it be better? Add Viper! Oh, wait. It's already there!
SFGAm rides and coasters:
1. American Eagle= "Eagle"
2. Raging Bull= "Da Bull"
3. Fiddlers Fling= "Scrambler on drugs"
4. Chubasco= "Dizzy ride"
5. Whirligig= "Steroid swings"

-------------
"SAVING THE WORLD BEFORE BEDTIME" Powerpuff girls
One more to my list...

I don't even know the real name of the thing... At PKI, the Flying Eagles or the Screaming Eagles... Anyway, we refer to it as the Screeching Eels. She said it on accident one time and it stuck.

Growing up at Geauga Lake, I used to call two of their coasters the Dorkscrew and the Double Whoopie. Can you guess which two i'm talking about?:)
Now that MF is in CP i call magnum dwarf.

CP in 2002, get to the point
WARNING!! DUE TO ADULT SUBJECT MATTER, PARENTAL DISCRETION IS ADVISED ON THIS POST!!

During one of my recent unsuccessful attempts to bring up a website, I secured the domain name www.tgasm.com (don't go there, it's pretty much nothing), short for "The Greatest American Scream Machines". Eventually, I used the acronym to name the similarly named ride at Six Flags Great Adventure, and while sharing casual information with a friend, I used the acronym and she asked me why I was going to ride an "Orgasm Machine". Needless to say, the name stuck, and TGASM at SFGAdv has forever become the "Orgasm Machine".

Additionally, a friend of mine calls TZ:ToT at WDW, the "Tower of Swearers," because of his first experience on the ride at a young age, and the colorful new words he learned as the riders plummeted.

-------------
NITRO kicks it into high gear...only at Six Flags Great Adventure!

Got to be Goofy -- June 22, 2001!

My other car is a rollercoaster...
I have a couple:

Before they removed the OTSRs on the Flight of Fears at PKI and PKD I called them "Flight of Pain." I can't wait to ride them now that the OTSRs are gone!

I call T2 at SFKK "Tylenol 2," since that's what you'll need to take to get rid of the headache after you ride. Another generic term for Vekoma SLC's such as T2 is "Hang N Bang."

And, as mentioned above, Iron Dragon at CP = "Draggin' Iron."

I thought I had more, but they escape me at the moment...

Bigg Jon
I call Raging Bull at sfgam Raging bull-sh*t. And I call Viper hyper. Ohh, and I call Mf the little fuc*er that could.

My friend and I came up with a good one for MS after ERT at Coastermania '99, "Spinal Tapper". When one of us wants to ride it, we just ask the other, "Wanna get 'Tapped?". The first drop was the inspiration for this one.

Batman the Ride - Batman

Shockwave - Rock Star (for all the "headbanging")

Giant Drop - Giant Turd (it looks like one!)

Raging Bull - Da Chicago Bull

funny stuff there....I have ALWAYS called all of those rides Hellevators, even before I knew there was one by that name.....SFKK got points for naming their 2nd-gen drop ride appropriately.

Also, Robin Chiller, after we got done riding, I said to Jill "you mean the Boy Wonder kicked your butt?". To this day, Robin is just "the boy wonder"....

Ninja at SFoG is just "the black belt" 'cuase he gives an awesome kick to the side of the head....

How about shockwave at SFGAm, I call it the death coaster. Splitting my head in 2.

me too

LOL, we use "bookin'" in southern Ohio, it means going really fast, don't ask me why!

I have always called Iron Dragon "Draggin Iron."

I don't know if this counts, but SFWoA never comes out S-F-W-O-A for me, or Six Flags, or Six Flags Worlds of Adventure. It always seems to come out as "S-F Woah," LOL.

Steel Phantom = Advil: The Ride

And however un-enthusiast this may be, I always say THE Steel Phantom or THE Phantom's Revenge. But they are the only coaster(s) I do this with.

Umm, I guess I can't hold a candle to all these new and innovative nicknames, but I call American Eagle "Eagle", Sky Trek Tower is "The Horny Donut", Raging Bull is either "Bull" or "Bullie", and Batman: The Ride is "Batman". Kind of boring, no?
