People who have ridden V2 or S:UE

Looking at water and trees vs. looking at a road, buildings and gravel. To me, the only major difference is the completely awesome surroundings on the yellow one as opposed to the red one. Also, it seems that you go a *little* higher on the yellow one...could be an optical illusion but it just feels that way. They ARE the exact same ride so they rank the same, but I'd rather be riding the yellow one over the red one. :)

"No listenin', you hear me?"
I was at Great America Saturday and V2 wasn't working. Is it broke already? Also I've been on SUE and it was the scariest coaster I've ever been on because you feel like you are going to get thrown off the end of the track.
I doubt there is too long of a line for V2 because the ride has a pretty high capacity.

The side where you go backwards is the scariest side because you see the ground getting further and further away.

Why did SFGAm build two similar coasters in the same year????

I rode SUE last summer and loved it.
I haven't ridden V2 yet (this weekend) but just by looking at the surroundings of the two rides. V2 at SFGAM has it beat. Blasting out towards a watering hole compared to a go-cart track has a bigger thrill, plus drooping toward the water also is cooler. The location of V2 couldn't have been placed in a better location. I give the edge to V2 (the yellow one).

They did not build to simmilar coasters! Your the second person that said this, I just want to point out they are not simmilar except in 2 ways
1. Both inverted
2. Both shuttles

That is it, even the trains are different. One has 3 (or 6) inversions, the other has 0. One has cable lifts, the other has a LIM launch. One is Vekoma, the other is Intamin. One is yellow, one is green (ok, that is not a major thing, I just wanted to say that.) One is a clone of a pre-existing ride, the other is a clone of two other brandnew rides.
The two rides will be completly different, and I myself look forward to V2 more than Deja Vu. And lastly, they are not simmilar.

I can be rude. I'm going to try to be nicer on these boards from this date forward, May 21, 2001
People, I wasn't asking which was better V2 or S:UE, I was asking if you liked them. (They are both the same) I was also asking if it is a long line is the ride worth it, since it is like only a 25 sec. ride
It is the same in the fact that they are both not a complete circuit CoastingOhio I see exactly what your saying, although I'm not complaining the more rides the better bring them on.
Trbiggar, Viper is hardly pure ectasy. American Eagle blows that ride away, even with the brakes, its wasnt the fastest wooden coaster a year ago for nothing. V2 and SUE, whats the difference? its the same. I saw at the top of this, does it feel like youre going 70 mph, YES! through the whole ride, it is fast! Its faster the second time going through, I think this ride wont just be better than Deja Vu, but much more scarier. The height doesnt seem that bad though, I mean, I dont think thats a problem , you dont notice it.
