People who have ridden V2 or S:UE

For whoever has rode these 'coasters' what do you think of them? Is V2 really worth the long line? Are they scary or boring? Does it seem 70 m.p.h?

They are both great rides, having been on both of them. They are not as scary after you ride them, but if there is a long line, you re sure to get scared.

BTW, it is a coaster, it just looks very weird. V2 was better than S:UE. That's all I can say about it.

O cool thanks. I can't wait to ride V2. Does a ride being over wtare make it more thrilling?

On V2 is the generator in a box right before the twisted spike? That is pretty scary on S:UE becasue it feels as if you'll hit it.

I'll never rate a clone over the original, so no matter how good v2 is, I'll always put SUE ahead of it.

Does every one think it will be better than Deja Vu?

S:UE is the better ride, simply because it was the first. I don't believe it will be better than Deja Vu, simply because Deja Vu is basically the same thing as UE, but w/o the twist and it has an actual invertigo layout too!

How can S:UE be a better ride just because it was first? Same coaster = same ride. You may have some emotional attatchment to the first, but that doesn't make it any better.

Wherever the original boomerang may be, it stinks just as much as the rest.

Could you describe the ruckus?

I thought S:UE was EXCELLENT! It was very fast, smooth, and a great experience...I would recommend the ride to ANY Coaster fan...it's a great ride..but what else would you expect from the company that gave us MILLENNIUM FORCE :)

How can you compare S:UE and Deja Vu? Because they both have 1 (or 2) vertical spires!? What you are doing is like comparing American Eagle with Viper. AE is an Out and Back that is overbraked, and Viper is a twister that is pure ecstasy. S:UE (and V2s) are LIM launch coasters with a vertical and twisted spire, Deja Vus are Vertical cable lift spires with a giant invertigo layout. They are uncomparable.

I bet that S:UE is better, just because it is first. First is always better, even in B:TR's case.

I've only ridden V2 at GAm, but It was FANTASTIC! I felt as if I was overcome by the most giddy euporia at the curling spike. In response to your question, I think the generator is under the concrete slab, because there was a door leading to something down there. Anyway, it was a fantastic ride, the first coaster I've been on that's over 100 feet tall...breathtaking!

SUE is the most awesome ride, havent ridden v2 i didn't even know it was open yet!!! They will be the same i imagine. It is my second favorite coaster along with Montu

S:ue Is Great fun ! The front seat is intense just turn your head sideways to get the full effect of the spin ! the last car is pretty darn cool to for that hang time on the straight spike. But you need to check it out yourself you may not like it my buddy Scotty says he gets kind of queasy riding the front seat !

I've ridden both now, and I don't remember S:UE being as good as V2. V2 was awesome. Then again so was S:UE. Both are good.

Um I don't know if one is better than the other but I think what is really enjoyable is getting stopped on the vertical spike and being held there for a few seconds before being dropped toward the ground. That definitely freaks people out. It is awesome.

How long does V2 hang? Is it the same as S:UE?

Mongoose, I believe since they have the same ride sequence, the computer program is the same. However, many people this year have noticed S:UE's "vertical hold" is a smidgen shorter than last year, so maybe it is up to each park to program the amount of time the train is up there.

BTW I'm still interested to know why some people think V2 is better than S:UE. I'm not saying you're wrong, just want to know what your reasons are.
