It would make me feel better...even if I'm being lied to. ;)

If there's one thing I've learned over the years at CoasterBuzz, it's that when it comes to amusement parks, people want lied to.

Waiting for a part makes the most sense, since it's an Intamin. They're not exactly known for fast or friendly customer service.

Hi

I did talk to your winkie...my god its rude!

I said the winkie, not my winkie. I don't have a winkie, silly. But for the record, if I did, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't listen to you anyway.

Edited for spacing weirdness.

Am I the only one who thinks it's suspicious that both Stormrunner and Kingda Ka have been waiting for parts for weeks? Supposedly Ka was struck by lightning, but I have to wonder whether Intamin had some sort of part recall they're not telling people about. Which brings me to another point: as a geek, I hate the fact that parks will never tell people what's wrong when a coaster is broken down. I'd feel better knowing than not knowing.

Jim - there's an entire discussion on closed rides, specifically park explanation vs. real reason here:

Many times, no, you would not.

Ka is down again?

If you can't find $10 off coupons on a Coke can or at a Subway you should be shot. And Hershey is too corporate? Guess Six Flags and Cedar are small family owned companies.
