PayPal?

Would you ever consider accepting PayPal for membership payments to the Coaster Buzz Club?

Because I'm from the UK, I cannot use the current methods and I would like to join.

I trust PayPal as far as I could throw them/it. They just don't have the same regulations imposed on them as "real" banks, and that's generally bad for merchants.

You can't get a bank to cut you a check with US funds? We have a ton of members from the UK, Canada, and even a few from Australia, and they haven't had any problems joining.

Jeff, would some of us state-side members be able to pay you on behalf of people out of the country, and then have them send payment via paypal directly to us, or would that be considered some type of money-laundering/illegal activity?

for example, Steve White could send me $20 + paypal fees (so it doesn't cost me any money) and then I make a payment to you for $20 on behalf of him to activate his membership. Would this be possible/legal?

You can do whatever you want, but if you buy a membership, you own it. It's not like a transferable entity.

We've had many members from the UK, Australia, Germany, Canada, New Zealand and even one from Singapore. I don't totally understand Steve's problem. Visa and Mastercard work in most countries.

This might be a bit off subject, and I apologize, but what DO i get from a membership?

Take it easy... Perhaps if the club link looked like the rest of the tabs on the home page it would be easier.

I upgraded my account to the CB club thingy with my UK credit card today without any problems :)

I have never had any problems with PayPal at all. I've been with them from the first day.

The club link is at the top of every page.

Sure...but I wasn't exactly saying that it was only on the home page. One step further...any page for that matter.
