parks around amazing natural settings

and like Morey's Piers, SCBB is next to the beach also. Very pretty. Bonfante Garden's is in an area where I used to go for Sunday drives just for the scenery.

On the other end of the spectrum, Disneyland, Knott's, PGA, etc. All pretty blah areas.

Busch Gardens Williamsburg is beautiful. Especially the train ride over the trestle bridge and Rhine River.
I thought SFWOA was nice.

I love the view of the river at Kennywood and I don't even think the Edgar Thompson Works detracts from it that much, if any.

Cedar Point's location has always been one of my favorites, ever since I remember seeing it from across the water on my first trip there around ten years ago.

I was amazed with the Rhine River when I visited BGW back in '99, it really adds to the beauty of the park (even though the park would still look great without it).

Like GregLeg, I didn't get to go because I had to be in Myrtle Beach, but driving through the Smoky Mts. near Ghost Town in the Sky was pretty cool, and I think that is a good place for a theme park. Out of the parks I have been to though, I have to say Silver Dollar City. The forests and mountains on which it is built is wonderful, and Wildfire and Buzzsaw Falls offer amazing views from the tops of them. You can see for miles and miles. It is beautiful stuff.
