Does anyone know where the urban Legend of the old Intamin freefall ride flying off of the end of the track, and the death of someone on an intamin "sky hawk/flight commander etc. ride when the harness poped open started and if there is any truth to them. It seems every park I have been to with these rides I have heard those accidents happned at. I know there is no way it has occured in all those parks

I heard a rumor about a girl getting her hair riped off on the freefall at SFGAdv back in the 80's but i dont know if it was ever true or not?
Giant Drop @ SFGAm, Hellevator @ SFKK, Drop Zone @ Paramount parks, well, every Intamin 2nd gen free fall has scalped a girl.
People I know say a person got killed by being kicked in the head by a rider on B:TR @ SFGAm, which is partially true. I belive that someone was killed by an inverted that way, just not B:TR.

Aw park urban legends, my specialty, ok, here I go.
Here's the first one,
The story goes a young couple go to a park. The man is very much in love with the women, the women isn't so sure about the man. So after that day the women decides that she is going to dump the man. The last thing they ride is the Ferris Wheel. They get to the top and the guy starts to get romantic, the women figures that she better tell him now. So she breaks up with him. The man is so devastated that he jumps. On the way down his body hits one of the car causing the wheel to go backwards 1/3 rotation. So if you close your eyes in front of the Ferris Wheel and chant bloody wheel 3 times with your eyes closed you will see a vision of the man jumping and the wheel going back 1/3 of a rotation.

sfne guy, it can be any park with a ferris wheel. Many legends start at one place, and end up everywhere, kind of like Giant Drops scalpping people.

I'm still fighting (and believe I always will) the urban legend about Demon Drop at SFGam.
Heck, today at the park (3.5 hrs), I was in my yellow CB shirt and talking about coasters and GAm history, and I was asked three times about Demon Drop and the four deaths and Cajun Cliffhanger two seasons back about how the ride "ripped the girls feet off"......

some girl who was drunk fell out of flight commander at PKI and died. I dunno if it was an Intamin though. Really just cause im 15 and im not really obsessed on what company makes what ride. (no offense)

From what I have heard on this site, someone did die on Flight Commander at PKI.

This actually did happen. The death occured when a drunk lady got into the ride by herself. When the cabin rotated, she slid out of the harness and fell to her death. The harness did not pop open, and PKI did a very extensive search into the death. I have seen it (article from a newspaper, forget which one) and they actually showed a medium size build adult male slide out of the restraints while the other seat was empty. The shuttle was on the ground tho.

Yeah, it was Top Gun at PGA. This hispanic guy (who couldn't speak english) went into the place where Top Gun comes out of the first drop to get his girlfriends hat. This lady on the train kicked him in his wind pipe. The lady broke her foot and he died.

Yes, that unfortunate incident you mentioned
did happen, and occurred on the
Top Gun B&M inverted coaster at Paramount's Great America a few years ago. A hispanic guest who did not understand the warning signage posted on the security fencing, went to retrieve a lost hat and was struck in the head by the foot of a rider after a speeding train passed by. Supposedly both families sued the park.

Also, at Morey's Piers in Wildwood, NJ, an employee was off-duty on his luch break. Now, they have a Vekoma Hang 'N Bang, known as the Great Nor'Easter. At the part of the ride right before the immelmann, the ride dive quite low, and part of the boardwalk was cut out and lowered so you didn't break your legs. This area also leads to maintenance sheds, and a walkway down to the beach. Well, the employee was on his luch break, and the ride was still operating. He was trying to get down to the beach by this route, instead of taking the normal entrance. As he was walking underneath the track, a train full of riders came by and he was kicked in the head and died from severe head trauma. After he was beaned in the head, he fell over backwards and landed smack onto the boards, which caused him to die.
Also, the legend about the girl being scalped on Stuntmans FreeFall at SFGAdv is, as far as I can tell, not true. And I have another legend to add to that:
A couple of monkeys had escaped from the Safari at night, and they decided to go have a little fun over by Scream Machine. They were clibing along the tracks, when one of the testing trains came down he first drop and completely destroyed the monkeys!
I doubt that monkey one a lot, though.
