painful rollercoaster

i want to know what people think is the roller coaster that bangs your head the most. Also at great adventure does batman and robin the chiller, and Viper bang your head
I haven't been on to many coasters but the roughest ive ridden is the mind eraser at SFNE, its a vekoma SLC. Major head banging.
my home park is Great Adventure, I go there all the time. The chiller is a BIG head banger, but it is really fun. The way to make your head not bang as hard keep your head rested on the left pad of the shoulder harness. Viper isn't that bad... it is a little rough, but when u get off of it you really get the effect of the ride, especially if u sit on it 5 times in a row. also Scream machine is a head banger too cuz it is an arrow, all of the coasters are head bangers, but it's not as much as the chiller or viper.

Here is a link to a tread that talks about rough rides and at the time of this post it had 79 replies. That will give you info on what people think. I know this is the slow time, but read Jeff's editorial, and lets try not to reinvent the wheel. :)

The Raging Bull #1!!
vIPER IS THE SECOND MOST HEAD BANGING COASTER I HAVE EVER RIDDEN(Viper at Magic Mountain.) Only to be tied with MEan Streak at cedar Point. and Beaten by PYSHOCUSUS and Canyon Blaster ahh thos hurt
Definitely Flight of Fear at PKI
I agree, Flds, Mean Streak really gives my head a beating... Anyways, most headbanging... I'd say Flight of Fear (PKI), but not to the point of it ruining the ride...
Steel Phantom in the rear row of a car.
Beast and SoB are rough but bearable, and the roughness even adds to the ride in the front cars. The Magnum is also quite rough (see "Magnum" post), as is just about any Arrow coaster save Vortex. ALL Premier launched coasters are headbangers, but that can be avoided by leaning forward against the restraint.
Wildcat was pretty bad last year. That thing will crack your ribs.

I'd have to say Windjammer. Surprisingly though, I really didn't bang my head all that much on Viper.
I'd say any of the Arrow loopers in the transition from a turn to a corkscrew, they really have to lear to do that properly...
Oh, and how can Mean Streak have lots of headbanging when it has lapbars?

I totally agree with Batman the escape. I had to be hunched over, too, and I can say, that's the only time I didn't enjoy a rollercoaster. I love painful rides! Poltergeist (Sfft), Viper, flashback, and psyclone(sfmm) and texas Giant(sfot) are all favorites of mine. However, Batman the escape was the worst experience of my life.
Anything that TOGO built.(Try Once-Get Off)
the Georgia Cyclone at SFOG was really rough the first time I was on it
i Would have to say shockwave at SFGA 2 of my friends have hurt there ears and neck on this ride and it seems to get worse every year
Serial Thriller at Six Flags Ohio was painful.
Funny that someone mentioned Canyon Blaster as painful as most people who ride it get off saying how smooth it was. But, yes it is that turn into the corkscrew that shakes you up, but that airtime filled hump before it makes up for it in my opinion!
