otsr's?

I don't think anyone has mentioned Arrow's butterfly restraints that can be found on X. These restraints don't induce any head-banging, but still cover the shoulders and chest. They aren't cumbersome and don't require a lap-bar such as B&M and Vekoma's vests do. I hope that in the near future these are the type of restraints that replace conventional OTSR's.
Don't you remember that Togo stand ups also had butterfly restraints? they hurt like hell especially on PKD's shockwave when entering the helix just after the vertical loop.

I have another question related to OTSR's. What is the difference between horsecollers and OTSR's? I know in the past people have said that horsecollers are more painful and I would like to know why.

If you don't like the ride shut up and get out of line.

Anything that I have to reach up and pull down over my head is a "horse collar". I don't care how comfortable or padded it is.

Wood - anything else is an imitation

A "horse collar" restrains its riders by securing their shoulders and upper body (Arrow Loopers). A "OTSR" restrains its riders by their laps, but still connects and lowers from above (B&M Loopers).

However, the term "OTSR" can be used to describe either type of restraint.
