Listen I am gonna give you some advice. "Ask for spelling extra help in your freshman english class." Then check back when you realize the money you are talking about.
I am on a computer, not in a classroom.

Titan Fan is very clearly interested in a bit more than just riding around a roller coaster. This is an interest I can certainly understand. I get the impression that you all are quite proud of enthusiasm for coasters and your knowledge, yet when an inquisitive, young, enthusiastic students asks you questions, you deem them as "old"and dismiss them. How ironic that you espouse your expertise and love for these things, and then immediately turn your back on someone who's willing to listen to what you've got to say.
I'm nearly 21, and a junior studying Mechanical Engineering. I've been sketching and designing amusement devices and themed attractions for as long as I can remember. I've had the good fortune to meet a number of people directly involved in this industry, and the one thing they have in common with Titan Fan is enthusiasm. You've got to love what you do.
While I agree that a single high school level business course won't go far toward finding the venture capital for such a project, it is a *start*. I also agree that it's somewhat clear that Titan Fan doesn't really comprehend the shear size of the project he's trying to undertake. Rather than tear him down, I'll be the first to offer what I know to feed his curiousity.
Titan Fan, there are places you can visit on the 'net that'll help you out a lot. For one, be sure to stop by the Imagination Portal at www.themedattraction.com . There are a number of useful resources there, including a list of reputable college programs, reading material, and company contact info.
Write as many of the industry leaders as you can. Often, if you ask politely, they'd be more than happy to send you informational packets and things. Whether you're 14 or 40 is irrelevant, because, in the end, they're just like you and me - they love it when someone is interested in hearing about what they do.
E-mail me if you've specific, or somewhat detailed questions. I mentor high school kids in a nationwide robotics competition, and so I'm quite fond of helping them discover how things work. I will gladly share my work and what I know. I'm sure there are some others who are willing to do the same.
Don't let them discourage you, though. You'll face a lot of obstacles, I'm sure. But, truthfully, in the end, though I doubt you'll see this project to it's intended end, the experience you gain will be worth much, much more.
Like I've been told a billion times - a single great idea, no matter how exciting or well-planned, is worthless. Companies want people with a broad variety of experiences and a wide knowledge base.

But if you get frustrated by a faceless entity over the internet, then perhas it's best you bow out now.

A few of you are so worried about his age, yet, if you look back, he has consistantly been more polite and mature than alot of you who are giving him a hard time. Does it really matter if he's 14, 21, 36, 77, or whatever? Is there some unwritten rule that you can't start working towards something at a young age? Do you guys just get your jollies trying to crush his dream?
All he's doing is asking peoples opions about amusement parks, on an amusement park message board. He's not violating any policies, and not offending anyone. If you look back, it usually generates alot of discussions and for the most part it's pretty interesting. That's something that alot of you don't ever seem to do.
If you don't want to share your opinion of what he's asking then don't. It doesn't matter if he ever follows through with it or not. The fact that he's interested in the opinion of others is reason enough for him to start a thread. I don't see the need for a few people to follow him from thread to thread just to give him a hard time.
Lighten up people!
PS I don't think the Mod's just close a thread because you don't like a response.
