You could introduce yourself there. You could ask questions about things non-related to coasters. You could have polls, and make games ("Guess the Coaster", "The Guy Above You", "Rate the Signature Above You").
Sounds like a good idea, and works fantastically on other forums.

I don't post very often, but I read what other members have to say, so I'm no newbie. It makes me feel so bad for people who just joined and they post a new topic and totally get bombarded with sarcasm and 'in before close' remarks.
