One minute to post?

Anyone else get a "you must wait one minute before posting" message tonite? I think it's a worthwhile feat

You will get it any night. It keeps from people flooding and spamming the forum.

That has been there for a loooooong time.

How come I got it after only one post? Did I hit some sort of max on my posts or something? I didn't think I posted *that* much yesterday ...

I've been getting that for about six months. Seems to be pretty effective.

It has nothing to do with the number of posts, just the frequency. When you make a post, sixty seconds must pass before you make the next one. It's applied to everyone, including me.

Ok, I had wondered why when the moderators would close a thread, another person sometimes gets one last post in before they are shut out. Makes sense.

That's another bug, actually.
