Jeff,
Have you ever considered having available for track records, old / demolished / relocated / no-longer-in-operation coasters (like RCDB) for the contributors to have under their belts? I realize that hosting a site like this is more than a full-time commitment, but... your thoughts? and others?...
This topic has been brought up a couple times before. If you know the new name of the coaster and the park it was relocated to you can put it in your track record. As far as coasters not operating anymore Jeff says we are out of luck.
Regarding SBNO coasters, if you can fill out their stats completely in the contribute section, I'll nost likely add them. The key is completeness. I would like to have as many numbers as possible, and a closing year in the "notes" field.

Sorry about bringing up an old topic, but I'm new. Thanks for the replies.
Do you know where I can find information on the old roller coasters that I used to ride that have since been demolished (what a shame). They were all located in Coney Island and only one remains left standing 'The Cyclone' (still in the top ten). I'd like to add them to my personal buzz but the only information I have is the names.
The ones that I remember going on were The Tornado, The Bobsled and and The ThunderBolt. They were torn down in the early 1970's. The Torando was a metal version of The Cyclone, The ThunderBolt was guareenteed to leave you black and blue from side to side banging around and The Bobsled had a wooden trench that it went through at the beginning of the ride and rocked the cars
from side to side.
Also, there was an amusement park in NJ by the George Washington Bridge called Palisades Park which was also torn down in the late 60's or early
70's and had a nice coaster also. I don't even remember the name of the coaster.
I'm in my 40's and have been going on roller coasters since I'm 5. Back in the 1960's they didn't have restrictions like they do today. I take my nephews to CP and PKI in Ohio every year and I'm planning to take my grandchildren on coasters.

Try www.rcdb.com It's the Roller Coaster Data Base. It has a lot of info on demolished and relocated coasters. I was able to add 4 coasters to my track record by finding the relocated rides that still exist elsewhere.

Gotta ride 'em all!
I asked this queston a few weeks ago and wanted to get a few things cleared up.
There already a few coasters here that are gone ie WOF's Zinger and Extreme Roller. If a coaster has been moved such as the Tidal Wave in SFGAM(and was launched by Hydraulics) wich is now the Viper at SFOG (and is now dropped ie Boomerang)
Can we add this coaster to SFGAM too

#1 Steel-Incredible Hulk
#1 Wood--Timber Wolf
Almost forgot
#1 Steel - The Montu, BGT
#1 Woodie - The Beast, PKI
The BEAST rules !!!!!
T-Wolf, I have that coaster you mention in my track record and I rode it as the Tidal Wave. If you know where it was relocated than add it to your list.
