Odd older coaster (1928 w/ steel track)

Take a look at this one. Look's like a railroad with passengers:

Note that the rails are the same as railroad rails, the cars are not locked onto the rails in any way.

Many of the Scenic Railways today are of a wooden tracked variety. The first thing I said was wow, That is railroad track and 5 bench trains :) Looks like there are two brakement in that one pic.

What a beautiful setting :)

Chuck, who must now go to South America some time in his life!

South America? Why? The coaster is in Spain. :)

Talk about a beautiful view from that ride too. Even the top of M-Force doesn't provide that beautiful of a view.

New Top 5:
5-MF; 4-X-Flight; 3-Hulk; 2-Kraken; 1-Raging Bull

My dad rode one at a park in Swedin or some place. I think it was made in 1926 if I remember correctly and the information on RCDB is correct. He said it wasn't very thrilling but amazing to ride. :)

I was just about to ask about an early steel coaster...

We have proficiency tests all this week(Im in 8th grade), so when I got done today Iw as readign ym coaster book(The American Roller Coaster by:Scott Rutherford)and he said that Disney gave his idea idea to Arrow(for the Matterhorn)because he went to Germany or soemwhere and saw a bobsled thingy over there. But, it stated in there that he saw a wild mouse made out of "steel". Now I thought the Matterhorn was amde otu of steel.

Ima little confused here; if anybody else ahs the book it states this on pages 94&96. He said make it as different as possible as a Wild Mouse. I dont think a wood coaster can do this hairpin turns.

At least I dont call a vertical loop a "loopdie-loop"!
