Note that the rails are the same as railroad rails, the cars are not locked onto the rails in any way.
Many of the Scenic Railways today are of a wooden tracked variety. The first thing I said was wow, That is railroad track and 5 bench trains :) Looks like there are two brakement in that one pic.
What a beautiful setting :)
Chuck, who must now go to South America some time in his life!

167 coasters and hopes to be over 200 by the end of 2002 :)
We have proficiency tests all this week(Im in 8th grade), so when I got done today Iw as readign ym coaster book(The American Roller Coaster by:Scott Rutherford)and he said that Disney gave his idea idea to Arrow(for the Matterhorn)because he went to Germany or soemwhere and saw a bobsled thingy over there. But, it stated in there that he saw a wild mouse made out of "steel". Now I thought the Matterhorn was amde otu of steel.
Ima little confused here; if anybody else ahs the book it states this on pages 94&96. He said make it as different as possible as a Wild Mouse. I dont think a wood coaster can do this hairpin turns.

At least I dont call a vertical loop a "loopdie-loop"!
