No more Lap bars.

The real problem isn't a person's height as much as their arm length.

I'm not quite 6'1", but I'd make quite the OUCH!!! (Bleeeeep) blooper reel, striking everything from outstretched branches to the occasional support. At corporate parks. On Arrow coasters.

it seems I look up to an awful lot of people

I recall reading somewhere that people tend to notice when folks are taller, but not when they are shorter, unless the difference is really pronounced. I'm too lazy to try to search for such a study now, so I could just be making this up.

well i am 80 inches tall, 6'8". I love riding rollercoaster. coasters with ostr's are a pain in the buttox for me i have so sit with my back bent and it does not make for an enjoyable ride. i realize that not every man is as tall as i am but, if thier is not need for them why have them? for the larger guests at the park it sucks.

Once You Feel the Force You Will never Be The Same
That sounds about right Rideman.

One thing I don't understand is why the measure your overall height. Is it just me or is it your torso that hast to be the correct height to go on a rollercoaster.

I mean their are some people who are tall but once they sit they the seem short.

Why do they then check your overall height to see if you can go on a ride then; instead of how tall you will be when you sit down.
