Wrong! They were listed on the main calendar from day one.

Ok first, they didn't release any info until around August. Second, They are having a second haunt, and a lot of people came. It turned out to be a huge success. Those words came from the owner.

They did specifically mention the Haunt at Valleyfair! during the latest conference call.

I don't honestly think it's going away either, I think they're probably moving it back to September when it's (i'd assume) not as cold.

Given the major investment they have made in the park for 2007, it would not make much sense to be cutting back this year. Just give them time to complete the updating of their website.

They did not have any information about the actual HAUNT on the site until about August, but they had the operating dates for HAUNT on the calendar when they released it last January (or whenever it was). That was when speculation that the park was going to do a Halloweekends event came into play on the boards. When the HAUNT logo appeared on their website that was when it was confirmed that they were doing HAUNT and that was in early part of the actual season.

I just noticed that the hours for VF's Halloween Haunt 2007 are now listed on-line. Go to www.valleyscare.com and click on calender. It lists the hours for October 2007 but the main calender on the website only goes through September. This should confirm that Halloween Haunt is definitely on for 2007. So you now have 9 1/2 months to plan for it. :)

Good. I'm glad they decided to have the event again this year. Since we'll be in Minneapolis during that time to see Cirque Du Soleil's new show that will give us a chance to go see how ValleySCARE is. :)

Swoosh, I was wondering if you guys were still heading to MN this weekend? Be warned that winter finally arrived. We're running -10 wind chills right now.

No it has turned off real ugly around here weather-wise and we are staying put. We actually had an early-out today at the school I teach at, today due to weather. :(

Boo ya. I loved last years haunt. I've received a rumor from someone, saying there will be a werewolf canyon in the back of the park. (God I hope so)

nooooooo!!! they cant get rid of it i was kinda spectical goin but im glad i did it was AMAZIN i was sooo surpised how good the haunted houses where ive been in quite a few and these buy far where up there in the best. I mean they really worked them out how much they cramed so much in such a little space, the props where amazin and there where a few times i screamed my head off I.E. the asslyum my favorite was the vampire one and the one they could get rid off was the clown one TOTALLY LAME!!! and the scare zones where good 2 i luved the priate one :):) I saw the general manager walkin around and i was gonna go up 2 him and thank him for makin an amazin halloween event but i didnt. Also i did hear next year they might turn TC into a scare zone, so all we can do is wait and see what they do this year but i will be prayin

The october calendar is up now... they dont have it on the main one.. BAD idea. I guess they were debating on weather or not to keep it.
