Thanks for the report. It was great getting to talk with you.
By far, this was the best NCC I have attended. I mean, we were in that room all day and it seemed to fly by. Before I knew it, Paramount was putting on their kick butt presentation at the end of the event. For those that were in attendance, you can relate. From the ultra-cool animations provide from Keith, to the amazing Coaster Dynamix kit (which provides enough track and supports to build your dream layout, not just the one shown), to the many parks who all had great presentations and surprises, this was one event that highlighted fun in more ways than one.
It truly was an amazing time. The PKI party at the end of the day was the icing on the cake for me.

Did IB say where the land was that they bought?
Word is it is some land behind the log flume and kiddie ride area. Possibly the house of the lady that was sueing the park.

The terrific news is, there is a baby Siebert on the way.
Congrats to Jeff and Mrs. Lisa!

Joe, who thinks this past No Coaster was the best one by far, thanks to the awesome company
I agree with Seanie completely. This was by far the best No Coaster I have yet attended. Each year the presentations just keep getting better and better.
The generosity of the parks is overwhelming and greatly appreciated.
I think the precident that PKI set years ago has really raised the bar at this event. Now you have parks like Six Flags Great America striving hard to really razzle dazzle the crowd. They did a phenominal job this time around, and I am so glad I got to experience it. What a great team they have running that park!
Not only that, but Paramount Parks and Attractions as a whole are much more involved. It's not just PKI any longer. The sheer fact that Paramount flew their premier "Borg" out from Vegas to help introduce the new attraction in Vegas and Carowinds simply amazed me.
Throw in the better quality presentations by fellow enthusiasts and it all added up a terrific event. Past years have been filled by some *ahem* less than exciting videos and slide shows. But this year everything was enjoyable.
The funniest thing about all of this is..... Only two presenters at the event are adding a coaster. Funny that, the best No Coaster event, and it essentially revolved around no coasters! LOL
As David Mandt of Paramount Parks said so eliquently... it is all about the friendships and memories created by attending a park. It has little to do with the rides themselves.

P.S. Joe - The beard dissapeared this morning.... it has a habit of appearing and dissapearing over time. LOL Glad you made it home safe!

mOOSH - just kidding...great to finally meet you in person, too!
Was it just me or did David appear to get choked up as he mentioned "friendships and memories"?
David is one of my favorite people in the world. He is as genuine as they come, and meant that from the bottom of his heart. The world needs more Mr. Mandts and Sieberts.
Moosh.... if you were referring to me meeting you, you forget, we have met before ;-)

J/K Matthew you know I'm just joking. ;)

LOL... When I asked the question, I was hoping for an awkward pause... which I got in spades. It's not easy to stump Mr. Siebert, but it sure is fun to try. LOL
It's not easy to embarass Jeffrey at all. Maybe next year. One of these days, we will suceed.
I agree with Seanie completely.
Whoa! That nickname is to only be used by the Paramount family exclusively. =:^)
I am glad Joe and yourself made it home safe. I am sorry I didn't get to say a proper goodbye but "something" had me running for my car as I am sure both of you picked up on as well.

I gave it a try at the PKI party, after the Partridge Family episode had finished playing. In the episode both Keith & Danny Partridge developed a crush on the PKI PR rep.
I tapped on Jeffrey on the shoulder and joked, "See...30 years later and men are still getting crushes on the PKI PR rep." He seemed to laugh...I certainly hope he found it funny. I hope to god he didn't think I was serious!
